• OOE buyback: A portion of revenue of OpenOcean will be used to buy back $OOE to reward $OOE Dao and LP participants trading on OpenOcean, reinforcing its long-term value.
• Trading fee rebates for DAO & LP holders with OOE buyback, maximizing your rewards as you trade.

OOE stakers inclu. LPs or DAO participants trading on OpenOcean will gain access to a new fee rebate model, allowing them to share in platform trading fees from their swaps in addition to their staking rewards. While enjoying low-cost trading on OpenOcean, they get to grow with the platform and unlock ongoing benefits.

To support this shift, we plan to sunset the current DAO gas refund program, which has seen low usage and is less relevant given today’s gas efficiency. Instead, we’ll redirect value to $OOE holders and long-term supporters with greater rewards and more meaningful utility.

For those currently receiving gas refunds, don’t worry — you’ll still be able to stake and transition smoothly into the new fee rebate system, unlocking even greater benefits moving forward.
